familiar phrases dont translate so well...

so one night i got to texting a friend of mine who is from slovakia..

this is how it went.......

slovakia: "morgan, come visit me"

morgan: "its so late though!!"

slovakia: "but i havent seen you in a long time

morgan: "i would love to come hang out but i might have to take a rain check"

slovakia: "rain check?"

morgan: "have you never heard that phrase?"

slovakia: "no, what does it mean?"

morgan: "it just means a promise that we will hang out another time because tonight isnt good"

slovakia: "okay ill take that promise"

morgan: "alright sounds good"

slovakia:" ill check the rain with you tomorrow"

....the next day

slovakia: "hey morgan, is it raining?"

HAHAHH!

hike school

IN YOUR SENIOR YEAR DID YOU...1. Did you date someone from your school? not really... people from other high schools... os they didnt find out about each other! JUST KIDDING.

3.Did you car pool to school? no, considering i lived a trillion miles from my high school.. well sometimes my mom would drop me off on her way to work, which wasnt dorky at all.

8.What kind of job did you have in high school? dish duty at my house? lol and a job at an eye doctors
