wow its been a CRAZY week! we had so much going on!

Monday.. there was a stomp.. and we got our dance on.

thursday was the miss snow pagent and team dinner.

(my most unqiue quality is the way I hold my pencil, and the way that I can love uncontrolably)

wow.

friday was the pep rally.. our music skipped.. and I had to run off the floor to clean the CD because kathleen was not there that night.. i looked like a fool! and there was a pie eating contest on the gym floor right before we performed so I was slipping all over the place!

and after the pep rally the football players all got torches and led the way down the street to the GIANT bonfire! it was so huge!

saturday was the homecoming game and dance.. it snowed! and it was so freezing while we were waiting to go on! later that night a bunch of us girls went stag to the dance.. it was alot of fun to get dressed up and all pretty! and still rock the dance floor! lol

so 7000 mink were let loose out of a mink farm that is less than a mile away from my house... my parents found this one hiding in our window well! they also saw a few more wandering around the yard... its a good thing that im not at home right now, i really dont think i could handle this! im not very good with animals... yuck. my poor family!

These are just a few of the things we do to keep ourselves entertained on the weekends in ephraim... it may look boring but you would be suprised! we had a TON of fun! especially coloring! (the rule book ash! haha) and sleeping altogether in the front room is always an experience! especially when one of your roommates talks in her sleep.. nonstop! ((*cough LINDEE!)) I love weekends like this one!

We had our first half-time performace this past weekend. We performed "shorty get loose" it was coreographed by myself and Kati Jo. It turned out SO CUTE! the crowd really liked it alot and I got a ton of compliments! The team worked so hard on this routine and I really think that it paid off on saturday! I love the picture of Kati jo, myself, Kiera, and Lindee. The four of us all live in the same apartment so its fun to have so many of us on drill! dont you love our costumes! haha I have never seen socks that go that high!

she went into labor at 6:00 PM the night before! that was a long night sleeping on the hospital waiting room floor! He is so perfect! I will post pictures later of him... my internet won't let me right now..

another update.. im 20! (too bad tavia couldn't have held that baby in one more day! we would have had the same birthday!) for my birthday my family went up and rode the zipline at olympic park in Park City! it was super scary.. but we all loved it. After that we went and ate at the RedRock.. I had the trout, dang it was delicious.

lastly, because I have to drive to provo twice a week, I decided to make good use of that time.. last night I downloaded five or six talks from previous general conferences. That will be alot more interesting than listening to the same music everytime I drive. And it just plain makes me feel better!

my good friend Austin Wilson had his farewell today! he did such an awesome job on his talk, that boy impresses me! he has come such a long way in the past year! and I can honestly say that his testimony in the gospel is one of the most raw and honest I have ever heard. He is going to be a great missionary and teach the saints in Calgary, Canada! I am excited to hear about the great things that I know he will accomplish over the next two years!

so when I got home from Austins farewell I decided that I needed to write all the missionaries that I knew out in the field right now and let them know what a great thing they were doing! my wrist hurt so bad after all that writting, but I feel like I got alot accomplished! I needed to write those missionaries for a long time... im such a procrastinator! oh well, better late than never!

has been pretty good so far... my history class is even earlier than I wrote in my last post... its not at 8:30 its at 8:00! and then I have my intro to music class right after that one... it is so hard to stay awake in that class. Maybe if I wasnt tone deaf I could appreciate the class a little bit more, but thanks to my parents I recieved NO musical talent, whatsoever, thanks.

Drill is also going good. there are a girls on the team who arent liking the conditioning that we are doing, which suprises me because last practice when we ran out on the track, I didnt even break a sweat! I felt like I was being so easy on them. Oh well, guess they will have to keep running on their own time so that they can handle the running in practice.

funny story: when I was going to my history class this morning I definately must have still been half asleep because I went to open the door to the social sciences building, and it seemed SO HEAVY! I must have looked like I was struggling pretty hard to poen the door because a boy that was behind me asked if I was ok!?!! I am pathetic sometimes!

drill camp this year was so fun! the team all gets along really well, so far, which is a good sign! onthe first day of camp there was a big earthquake! it was the scariest thing ive ever experienced! lol... im such a wimp! the one last year in ephraim was like a 2.1 or something and this one was a 5.8! kind of scary if you ask me! but the rest of camp was so much fun! we learned lots of cute dances and everyone did so good! im excited to get the year started!

ill do this new york trip thing in a few blogs.. that way ill have something to blog about for a while.. and there are WAY to many pictures to put on in one blog.. so this first blog is about the famous people i met.. i didnt get pictures with them all but i did get a picture with sabra! she won the third season of so you think you can dance.. and she is from utah! but currently lives in New York. She was just walking around shopping with her mom.. i saw her from a distance and couldnt tell if it was her or not.. but i went up and got talking with her about how i was from utah too and what not.. then next cool person i met was SEX. he was on the joke episodes of soyou think you can dance.. he is sooooo funny! he was eating dinner with his mom at the cafe right by our hotel.. and i also met the naked cowboy, he is very naughty! lol i also saw marquis from so you think you can dance, but wasnt able to geta picture with him.. and also hugh heffners girlfriends holly, kendra, and bridgette were staying in our hotel.. i only saw them from a distance though

This past friday I went and hung out with my girls from salt lake! It was so much fun to hang out with them again! I feel like I hadnt seen them in ages! The past week has been bitter sweet. I have had ALOT on my mind lately to say the least.. I had a few things that i needed to sort out and make a decision because i kept dragging people along and leaving them hanging with no idea what was really going on in my head. Well earlier in the week i was able to figure it all out. and in all reality i didnt have to make much of a decision at all. My decision was made for me. So if i could i would say to that one boy.. today was the first day that i really got to enjoy the WARM weather!

after swimming we picked up austin and went to the drive in movies..

Last night we all went dancing! it was so much fun.. definately an eventful night.. to start of the night i dropped my phone in the toilet.. and it didnt work for a while, but now it does.. thank goodness! i like my phone alot. i would be so sad if it broke. Then we all headed off to studi-OH! there were a trillion people there last night! it was some 2 year anniversery thing.. i dont know for sure. But it was for sure NUTS! i saw pretty much everyone i know too.. The live band that was playing there was LARUSSO.. i love this band.. they played at the benefit concert that i organized last year and were so awesome and supportive about it.. even when TED from the circuit screwed us out of most of the money we made.. then i saw my cousin.. and all my friends thought he was hot. it was weird.

wow.. i never thought i would miss ephraim so much! i get so bored at home! i feel like i have gotten myself into the most boring routine possible.. i wake up, go to work, get off work and drive home in the WORST traffic imaginable, get home an hour and a half later, eat dinner, go to bed, and wake up and do it all over again. by the time the weekends come im too dang tired to want to do anything anyways. i need to go back to school. at least i always had something to do down there.. even if it seemed boring at the time. as you can see by that picture shay gets pretty bored too.. we have to make our own fun at party city!

dads marathon..

last saturday my dad ran his first marathon.. he is always on some new kick, or has something new that he wants to accomplish. I definately give him props on this one! i cant even run five miles without feeling like im going to pass out! and he ran 26!!

it seems like all my friends are getting a blog so i decided to jump on the train! i had no idea i was so stupid at computor stuff because this was so hard to make... i called megan in a panic to help me figure this out! we'll see how it goes.
